Remix is a challenge where you write a new version of a story by another participant. Keep the basics of the story the same (including the basic plot, characters, pairings or lack thereof), but change the style, structure, focus, or something else. Camelot Remix is a remix challenge for Merlin and Merlin RPF fic and art. We only have a few people signed up to write/art RPF so far, so we need you!

Just a quick reminder that sign-ups for the RPF MINIBANG close tomorrow!

The MINIBANG is a simple challenge (not a collaboration) with the aim to produce as much RPF as possible. You write (3k minimum), create art, make a fanvid, film a video, compose a song—whatever strikes your fancy as long as it involves the cast of Merlin, any pairing (or threesome, or foursome, or...), no pairing, it's up to you!

camelotremix is a new fic challenge, a chance for you to write a new version of someone's else's fic and another writer play with yours. It's open to anyone who's written five Merlin or Merlin RPF fics of at least 500 words. The assignments will go out in late August and fics will be due by October 9.

Most of the people who've signed up so far do mostly fictional person fic, but we've got a few RPF fans and would love to have more of you join us! In fact, part of the reason this challenge is happening is so there could be a remix with Merlin RPF fic, even though it wasn't one of the qualifying fandoms in this year's Remix Redux.

Hello!

I'm here to pimp an RPF challenge currently running at

bradleycolin. It is, as far as we know, the first of its kind and we're hoping to get as many people participating as possible. So please make your way over to this post, have a read of the extra information and prompts and indulge in some Bradley/Colin ♥.

The challenges will be monthly, and the current one ends April 26, 2009 at 11PM BST. There are some great prizes involved, and we hope to see you guys over there. :D
