Hello, lovely RPF'ers!

This is a friendly reminder that we're getting to the pointy end of our Prompts Fest for this year! Fills are due on 14 April, over a week away. We have two claims currently unfilled. And you all still have time to claim a prompt and create something in response, if you wish! Ah what fabulous prompts!!!
I saw that post by Bradley about being confused with Jensen Ackles, and boy, I'd love to read that fic! But actually, all the prompts sound amazing!

Yes, they are all wonderful! But that one... oh how I wish I were witty enough to run with it myself. We must just hope that someone else picks it up. :-)

Hon, as it's a hectic time, I didn't want to commit to any deadlines, but I just put a few words together for the fest. Could you squeeze me into the posting schedule somehow or is it too late?

Going through the prompts after writing my own I noticed that what I wrote is very close to one of the prompts, but not really filling the prompt. Would that be a problem?

That's absolutely marvellous, hon! Thank you so much for managing to fit in writing a fic despite all the other demands on you.

I have just tested this to make sure: You can just post directly to the Prompt Fest collection, without actually going through the claim-and-fill process. So I will leave it to you to decide whether your contribution fits that particular prompt or not. Either way, the prompt would remain open to claims by others — but maybe you'd be more comfortable posting your fic as a stand-alone?
